Brittany Vaclaw

Rebecca Murray

Alexis Rollman

Brittany is owner and operator of Timber Grove Equestrian Center. She's been riding and caring for horses since she can remember. After college, marriage and starting a family, it was time to get back into horses. she somehow convinced her non-horse husband to get a couple horses "for the kids".  That escalated quickly into what is now Timber Grove Equestrian Center.

Brittany stays busy with 6 awesome kids, a supportive husband, sheep, mini highland cows, dogs, cats, chickens, and horses.

Rebecca Murray is the Lead Instructor at Timber Grove Equestrian Center.  Rebecca began instructing as a working student and grew from there.  She has worked at various barns through high school and college teaching beginner and intermediate lessons, camps, and IEA Teams. She has a passion and skill for teaching and bringing young riders along in their equestrian journey.

Outside of barn life, Rebecca and her husband, Austin, enjoy time with their little one, Addison.

Alexis is the assistant instructor for Timber Grove Equestrian.  Alexis grew up riding and showing in California before moving to Texas. Alexis competed in .95 Jumpers with her horse, Cypress. As a working student, she helped with camps and clinics for young riders. Alexis coaches our beginner riders, camps, and is the assistant coach for Timber Grove's IEA team.

Alexis and her fiancé, Blake, are enjoying their time back in Texas and building a life together.

Kelli Griffith-Vontour

Kelli is one of Timber grove's trainers, has over 45 years of experience, and employs a "horse first" philosophy.  Kelli grew up in the Middle East first learning to ride with British Horse Society Pony Club instruction that focused on horsemanship & combined training.  In high school, her focus shifted to competing in hunters and equitation on the East Coast, which continued through college in Texas, at which time she began teaching.

Kelli has a high success rate of rehabbing horses from minor setbacks to major surgeries, specifically kissing spine surgery.  Her methodical and steady approach has proven successful many times over.

Kelli and her husband, Mick, have their own herd of 4-legged kids at home that keep them happy and entertained.

Clare Gottsch

Timber Grove is fortunate to offer Clare for training services as well.  Clare grew up riding and showing in Maryland most of her life.  Clare has an extensive background in eventing and cross country riding.

Clare's knack for greener horses and helping with the youngsters has been a big asset to our program.  Clare takes a patient approach focusing on foundational skills to help set the horses up for success.

Most days, Clare can be found at the barn with her own youngster, Felix, and spending time with her husband Luis and Indigo, a TG mascot dog.

Shannon Edwards

Shannon has had a soft spot for animals, big or small, all her life.  Whether rescuing wildlife or fostering dogs and cats, she treats them all the same: as her own.  Shannon does the same for all the horses at TG.

Shannon oversees the horses' daily care as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of the barn and property.  Timber Grove is so fortunate to have such an attentive, knowledgable, and willing person managing one of the less glamorous parts of barn life.

You can always find shannon near an animal (likely with a treat in hand) or spending time with her children and grandchildren.
